How much do I pay to book?
A £100 deposit secures your booking and is deducted from the £1,250 residential package. That leaves £1,150 remaining. The deposit is part of the price, not an additional charge.
Do I need to find the leak or carry out any tests first?
No. You do not need to diagnose the problem, take meter readings or choose a detection method before booking. Our engineer handles the investigation, selects the appropriate equipment and explains the findings.
Is the plumbing repair included in the price?
Yes. The residential package includes leak detection, the access or excavation required, the plumbing repair, parts and materials, testing and a Trace & Access report. There is no separate hourly charge simply because an agreed residential job takes longer.
Can you investigate heating leaks as well as mains water leaks?
Yes. We investigate mains water supplies, concealed hot and cold water pipes, central heating pipework and wet underfloor heating circuits. The method depends on the system and the symptoms. Boiler component faults may require a suitably qualified heating engineer.
Does non-invasive detection mean there will be no opening up?
Specialist detection helps narrow the source before access is made. Repairing a concealed pipe may still require a floor, wall, ceiling or external surface to be opened. We explain the proposed access before starting that work.
What happens after the repair?
We carry out appropriate post-repair testing and record the investigation and work in a Trace & Access report. The plumbing repair comes with a 12-month workmanship warranty. Decorative and remedial reinstatement is separate.
What is excluded from the £1,250 package?
Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded, including tiling, flooring, plastering, painting, decorating, cabinetry and restoration of external finishes. Commercial work receives a separate quotation.
