What we investigate
We compare the location of the damage with the likely water and heating routes. The timing of symptoms can help distinguish supply pipework from an intermittent plumbing problem. Moisture readings, surface temperature checks and suitable pipe testing contribute to the investigation. Where a leak is traced, we discuss targeted access and the practical plumbing repair.
Signs to tell us about
- Bubbling paint or lifting floor finishes
- A musty room with persistent damp
- Water appearing away from visible pipes
- A wet patch that returns after drying
Getting ready for the visit
Record the rooms affected and when the symptoms change. Explain any recent building work, previous openings and access panels. Do not remove damaged materials simply to prepare for a visit.
What to expect
Concealed does not mean accessible without any opening. Detection aims to avoid unnecessary disruption; the repair still needs physical access to the pipe.
Detection, access and repair
For residential work, the £1,250 package includes investigation, suitable detection methods, access or excavation, the plumbing repair, parts and materials, testing and a report. The repair carries a 12-month workmanship warranty.
We serve homes and businesses across the listed service area. Check the coverage directory and provide the exact postcode before booking. Decorative and remedial reinstatement, including flooring, tiling, plastering and decorating, is separate.
